Origin
Torn from her everyday life of cold and frigid detachment when her sister, Serah, was deported, Lightning threw away all she knew in order to save her. Along the way she met others, not expecting to bond with them, but being stuck with them nonetheless. When she's branded by a Pulse Fal'Cie, Light could not have expected to even truly fight against her fate as a I'Cie.

Upon the crux of her journey, however, she begins to realize having people beside her could make fighting fate and saving everyone, including her sister, a little easier.
